Study Group Report 2007 Study Group Report on Enterprise Architecture

Towards the end of 2003, following an interest shown by thirteen countries, a Study Group to be led by Sweden and Denmark was formed to look into an emerging application termed 'Enterprise Architecture'. The Study Group presented their preliminary findings in October 2004 and commissioned to complete their study and report back within 12 months. Over the next few months the Study Group leader and a number of the Study Group members left the government service and although a new team leader was appointed the momentum was lost.

Enterprise Architecture, Transformational Government and similar approaches remain an interest to those involved in Strategic Planning; therefore the original co-chairs have now revised and comprehensively updated the original report that is now being made available by the authors in 'PDF' format. It should be noted that the revised report is neither in the format nor the structure of an ICA Study Group Report .

However, ICA believe that this updated report contains information of real value both to its members and the wider audience and wish to record their appreciation for the work carried out by its authors, Olov Östberg and John Gøtze.
